Sports Leaders

Sports Leaders at Fishburn are passionate about being active. They apply for their role explaining why they think they would be good at supporting their peers in their physical activity. They enjoy physical activity and have a responsibility to encourage their peers to be more physically active. They organise games and activities at break and lunchtimes, considering what skill they would like to support (skipping, jumping, running etc). They will play with their peers, modelling the skills and supporting them. Additionally, Sports Leaders assist and organise sporting events in school. This encourages all of our pupils to take part in both intra and inter-school competitions.
